My Journey and What Worked For Me

I was always active and fit. I was always in the gym keeping my body together. It wasn't until Covid hit and everything shut down. I had no way to workout (at least that's what I thought) I started eating unhealthy and laying around playing video games. I've been little my whole life, so when I gained weight I think I was going through a depressing stage. I couldn't work beacuse all the strip clubs had to close down due to Covid. I couldn't do shit! I gained a little over 210 pounds during covid. I was tired all the time, I started wearing leggings because that's all I could fit at the time. I saw myself getting bigger, but I didn't care. One day I walked pass my hall mirror and I couldn't bare to look at my reflection. I was big as fuck!!! I didn't like it! I started working out around the house doing situps, squats, running around the apartment complex..( I was staying in a apartment at the time) I tried everything! nothing worked fast enough for me. Finally the world opened back up slowly, and I scheduled my doctor visit because I wanted to make sure my health was good since I gained so much weight. My doctor (at that time) wasn't worth shit! he told me "oh, your fine,everything looks good." I wasn't fine though. I immediately changed my doctor. I went over to Kaiser permanente. I found out I was prediabetic and had bad cholesterol (LDL). my new doctor gave me the tools I needed to lose weight and become healthy again. Now, I'm no longer in the prediabetic stage and my cholesterol levels have improved. I eat healthier and I completely cut out sugar, fast food, fried foods,and etcs. It wasn't that hard for me because I was determined to lose weight and be healthy again. So,I'll be sharing the tools, my experiences, my knowledge and research with you all.
